Gensac is a small medieval village with a thriving local community who offer a warm welcome to all visitors. There are many actvities throughout the summer months, including fétes and "Brocantes". Local markets can also be found in Libouorne, Castillon la Bataille and of course the well known market of Sainte Foy La Grande (said to be the best in the area).

Just 40 minutes from Bergerac airport and one hour from Bordeaux. Gensac is situated between Castillon la Bataille and Ste Foy La Grande on the D18. (A 6km de l'axe Bordeaux-Bergerac (D936), traverser Pessac sur Dordogne et dans Gensac suivre le fléchage. Nous sommes face à l'église.)

We are about 20 mins away from St Emilion, which is just north of the D936. Gensac is situated south of the same road between Castillon la Bataille and St Foy la Grande.
